On the official website of the anime adaptation of “To Your Eternity” (Japanese: “Fumetsu no Anata e”), it was announced today that the series will be broadcast on Japanese television from 12 April 2021. In addition, a new visual has been released, which you can find below.

“To Your Eternity” is to consist of 20 episodes and is directed by Masahiko Murata (“Naruto Shippuden”) in the studio Brain’s Base. Shinzou Fujita (“Berserk”) writes the script, while Koji Yabuno (“Space Brothers”) contributes the character design and Ryo Kawasaki (“Fate/Grand Order: Babylonia”) composes the music. The ending “Mediator” is by Masashi Hamauzu.
The film stars Reiji Kawashima as Fushi, Rie Hikisaka (Hana in “HUGtto! Pretty Cure) as March, Aya Uchida (Kotori in “Love Live!”) as Parona, Rikako Aikawa (Kurumi Saiki in “The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.”) as Pioran, Mitsuki Saiga as Hayase and Kenjiro Tsuda as viewers.
The anime was originally scheduled to launch on Japanese television in October 2020 but was postponed by half a year due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Crunchyroll shows the series in the original tone with German subtitles in the simulcast. The original manga was written by “A Silent Voice” author Yoshitoki Ooima and has been published in Japan since November 2016.
In the tundra, far from civilization, an immortal being is exposed, slowly making its way through the snow-covered wasteland. Soon it meets a boy who lives in the middle of this snow desert and decides to join him. And so begins the journey of the Immortal. A journey full of experiences and chance encounters in a relentless world.
