Farewell, My Dear Cramer: First Touch Release Date Postponed


On the official website of the anime adaptation of “Farewell, My Dear Cramer” (jap.: “Sayonara Watashi no Cramer”) it was announced today that the prequel film for the anime project had to be postponed until summer 2021 due to “various circumstances”.

The film, titled “Farewell, My Dear Cramer: First Touch,” was originally scheduled to premiere in Japan on April 1, 2021. There are no plans to postpone the associated anime series “Farewell, My Dear Cramer“, which will be broadcast on Japanese television from 4 April 2021.

Both anime works are produced under the direction of director Seiki Takuno (“Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches”) at Studio LIDEN FILMS. Natsuko Takahashi (“Bleach”) writes the screenplay, while Eriko Itou acts as a character designer. Masaru Yokoyama (“Fruits Basket“) is responsible for the music and Toei for the distribution.

“Farewell, My Dear Cramer” is written by Naoshi Arakawa (“Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso”) and has been published in the “Monthly Shonen Magazine” since May 2016. Kodansha has published 13 volumes so far. The manga range is not yet available.
