As part of a live stream a few days ago, CyberConnect2 CEO Hiroshi Matsuyama gave a small update on the development of the console game “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Hinokami Keppuutan”, which is to be released later this year.
Development is Progressing Well
He said he could not give specific details yet, but “development is progressing well. In fact, the majority of employees in the company work on Demon Slayer.” Further information will soon be revealed in the “V-Jump” and “Weekly Shonen Jump.
Despite the good news, Katsuhiro Harada of Bandai Namco jokingly admitted that he had noticed that there might be problems. He was referring to the fact that he had seen Matsuyama shoutating at the staff. He replied: “It’s going well! If you work a lot, you also have a lot to say.”
“Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Hinokami Keppuutan” is described as a battle-action game to be released for PlayStation 4 in 2021. An appointment and a release in the West have not yet been confirmed.
